About Jason Ward:
 

I’m a high school math teacher, program director, and parent based on Maui with over 15 years of experience working with students in public schools, private schools, Waldorf education, and one-on-one tutoring.

I created Atlas Algebra to help students build confidence and strengthen the foundational skills that make higher-level math possible. My approach focuses on identifying learning gaps, developing real understanding, and helping students feel more capable and independent in math.

I believe students learn best in a calm, supportive environment where they can ask questions, make mistakes, and steadily build confidence.

Outside of teaching, I enjoy surfing, running, climbing, music, and spending time with my family here on Maui.
